AeroGarden

Aerogarden Free TrialThe AeroGarden is a wonderful device that automates your growing and results in an ongoing supply of produce. The AeroGarden comes with everything you need to start a small herb garden including seeds and fertilizer.

The small version of the AeroGarden® has the footprint of a
breadbox and is sized to fit conveniently under most cabinets. The
AeroGarden® measures 16" long by 10 1/2" wide by 15 1/2" high when it
is first set up with the lights at the lowest possible setting, and 21"
high at the highest level. So keep that in mind. There is a larger version of this that has more wattage and a higher light level.

The front panel has lights that indicate when it’s time to add water and fertilizer. It’s fool proof!

This is a great introduction to aeroponics for the beginner to learn how it works.

See an actual Aerogarden Marijuana grow!

Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps

bronnersalmondsoap.jpg
Dr. Bronner may have passed on back in 1997, but his famous products live on! A few years ago, his family decided to switch over to Hemp oil for most Dr. Bronner’s products. Since then, the quality of their soaps has improved markedly!

A good example is the Almond Castile soap. This all-in-one product has dozens of uses including shaving, shampoo, wool and silk washing, car washing and it’s even safe for babies!

I’ve been using the Almond soap on and off for 30 years. The mild almond smell and smooth feel of hemp oil on the skin, make this product a winner!

For most uses you must dilute the soap (it lasts a long time).
Many people use it to clean their dreadlocks. You can find Dr. Bronner’s products in most health food stores.

As far as I know, Dr. Bronner’s is the first popular line of products that has switched over to hemp oil. This is just one example of how the cannabis plant can improve our lives.

Dr. Bronner’s unusual packaging contains a lot of tiny text on every label that exhorts its users to unite under All-One-God and follow his moral ABCs which he spells out on the label.

Soma Seeds is an earth friendly business striving to think of earth first in the business that we create. We grow our seeds biologically, we let our hearts guide us with the plants, not calendars, not money, not power trips, but a sacredness, a vibration of mutual trust, an exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide, a friendship. Soma Seeds focus’s on the medicinal side of cannabis, constantly striving to find better and better geneticis to be used in a medicinal way.

Medicinal cannabis has to be grown in a manner where the end product is truly going to make the patient feel better, not full of pesticides, poisons, and money vibes. Our seeds are tested constantly for their germination quality. We have a line of 100% female seeds as well as male and female seeds. Our male and female seeds are usually about 30% male 70% female.

We have 20 different types of seeds available.

La Tertulia

This gezellig little coffeeshop in the Jordaan along the Princengracht, is easy to find. Just look for the Van Gogh wall mural with sunflowers on the outside wall. They serve snacks and there’s a few outside tables. Inside there’s a crystal garden with a large assortment of crystals and jewelry.

Happy Days

This place should be named Happy Daze, as the people here are out of it. The Red Bud and White Widow they offer are almost identical, although f15 per gram. Worth a quick stop on a trip down the Amsteldijk out of town if you need something to smoke. Get off the #12 tram at the corner, or ride your bike. Across the Amstel from the Rembrandt Tower.

The Top

thetop.jpg

When I visited The Top Coffeeshop, I was the only one there besides the bartender/dealer. The sunlight streaming in made the place seem cheerful and inviting, just like someone’s living room. I immediately took to the place because of the cozy seating and the colorful, funky vibe eminating from within. The beautiful murals were done by a couple of artists yet they meshed well.

I ordered a delicious, vitamin fortified, fruit-berry drink from Germany in a half-liter plastic bottle. I wasn’t in too much of a hurry because I’d walked all the way through the Rembrandt park, and needed a good rest. I listened to some nice dance music and chatted a bit with the bartender.

As I was getting ready to leave I decided to check out their cannabinoid selection, and I’m so glad I did! I noticed they had something on their hash menu called “Warme Oren”. I asked him what it was, and he said it was a tasty Moroccan hash that was good to smoke on cold days because it “warms your ears”, thus the name. He produced a nice chunk of very light, blonde hash. I put it up to my nose and could scarcely believe what I was smelling! It was a wonderful, fresh, pungent odor, like something I hadn’t smelled in years. I immediately got some and gave it a try. It was so damn lekker! It cost f 17.50 a gram.

Since that bit was so impressive, I decided to see what else he had and asked to see the Manali Cream. Unfortunately there were only tiny bits left as it was almost gone! I suppose that’s a good sign, and he confirmed that it was very popular, even though it was 25 guilders a gram. I looked at it and smelled it and it certainly looked and smelled good. It was soft and sticky, unlike so much “manali” I’d tried in other coffeeshops.

I decided to wait until I got home to try it as I was already beginning to get a very nice buzz from the “warme oren” that I figured I should try it another time. I was not to be disappointed. The Manali Cream is a very smooth smoke and surprisingly, you really don’t feel the toke until almost a minute after you’ve inhaled!

So now I’m in hash heaven with two of my favorites right here, calling my name right now… Which one shall I choose next??? Yummy!
