NH to decriminalize small amount of Marijuana

A proposal in New Hampshire to decriminalize possession of marijuana up to 1.25 ounces. Police are testifying in favor of and against the proposal. If the measure passes NH would be the 13th state to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana.

A new study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, finds that cannabinoids, the active ingredient in marijuana, slows the spread of lung and cervical cancer tumors. Researchers from Germany are unable to say by what mechanism it works, but it does in the laboratory.
