| Veg Stage:
The SC99’s germination rate was 5/5. All of the seedlings where females (5/5). This plant grows very thick branched. It has good vigor and large leaves. Expect 6-7 weeks in veg. growth for a nice bush. I suggest topping this strain to optimize yield and get some nice side branches. All my phenotypes appeared to be very similar. I did not see any significant variation worth mentioning.
Bloom stage:
This SC99 grew very uniform. I personally would choose this strain to grow if you’re looking for a great yield. You can expect 7-8 ounces (no co2) if you grow a fat bush. The buds get very thick. So if you have a humidity issue do not bother with this strain. Also even if you don’t have those problems try to keep great circulation going. The nugs get REAL thick. The trichomes are very large and thick. They make the buds rock hard to the touch. The ST#3 I believe is what threw the mold problem in there. You can expect it to mature in 8-9 weeks (60-65 days). It grows very uniform in bloom not giving any problems if you have room restrictions.
Final evaluation:
Good job by the BOG on this one. This strain is good, but I am not the biggest fan of ST#3. The C99 he chose must have been very strong. It improved the ST#3 IMHO. I like the taste of the bud, but due to humidity I can no longer grow this one. The yield is absolutely excellent. The high is also very smooth taking on the parent C99’s high. I would say this strain would be excellent for beginners as well. The taste was really not my cup of tea, but you ask for everything. Overall it’s a very nice strain.
