| I really enjoyed this strain, although it was a bit pain to grow, it did not stretch as much as I was expecting and was surprisingly manageable. It was extremely sensitive to nutrients, especially nitrogen. I had 6 Destroyer seeds, all germed and I got 3/6 females.
Destroyer is a cross of Thai and Mex/Col, and I got 1 of the Mex/Col pheno and 2 Thais. The Mex/Col finished at about 70 days and yielded about 30 grams of very high quality bud. The bud was extremely crystallized as well as the close trim, although it was not very dense at all. It had a nice piney minty hashy taste. The high was a very nice head buzz with a little body and some interesting minor visuals such as tracers.
One of the Thai pheno plants simply didn?t make it through the canopy and was sort of sick, I took it down shortly after Mex/Col because it had many cloudy trichs. This plant yielded only about 7 grams, but the high was soaring.
After the 2nd plant was cut, the only plant left in my flower room was my big healthy Thai pheno plant, I moved it right under the light and spread its branches out to get light to all the lower buds. I also gave it a couple small shots of 0-10-10 fertilizer at this point to see if I could stimulate some more bud growth. Well, the plant simply blew up at this point. All larger buds had to be tied up so they wouldn't fall over and the plant just kept pumping out more bud up until day 108 of flower when I finally decided it was done growing. This plant weighed in to an astounding (to me at least) 110 grams. My largest cola weighed in right at 1 ounce, but I had to cut it up to fit it into my biggest curing jar.
