| This is a report on, Grimm99. I found it to be impressive during growth. At height of growing peak, Grimm99 measured about 3-4 internodes and maybe 6-8 inches in growth per week in a hydroponic drip ring setup with perlite as medium. This would be a Very nice strain for OUTDOOR environments. Growing this strain indoors causes extreme stem elongation during week 0.5 - 3 of light cycle change to 12/12 blooming. Nutes were increased in potassium, and phosphorus while decreasing nitrogen 1 week proir to 12/12 cycle. Still, Grimm99 is a nitrogen hog. Without massive levels of nitrogen all during growth, the leaves will turn yellow and fall off before stem control is realized. lol Outdoors, this strain will yeild an "8" on my scale. Indoors, i will not try this strain again. Yielded 30% product compaired over 2 other strains in same room. This strain is good for rapid blooming and good endresult, but i feel like i would trade 1-2 weeks of sooner bloom for an exchange of a larger yeild. Impressive root base and main stalk girth is not a technic advised for this strain if using Indoors environment. 600w HPS + 2 dual stacks` 4' floro on both sides to attain "Phototron" worked very nice also for this one. I`m 90% sure this is an OUTDOOR strain and should be considered as so. One HID source with the strenth of a 600w hps is not enough to realize fuller sizes.
Garden Information for this report 600w aircooled HPS in horizontal position. 160w of floros added as seen in "phototron" setup. 3 plants, veg for 4 weeks. 3ft-4ft overall height, 40 branches. Medium is perlite in a Hydrofarm drip bucket. nutes are fed for 15m every 12 hours. co2 added @ 0.5cfh |
