I have logged those selections in a thread here at OG. In quick summary, I was graced with a range of phenos which I believe represent what is possible when growing Blueberry.
A very short squat, most Indica of the bunch, berry pheno. A keeper, but not my favourite.
A couple of earlier finishing frosty ladies, one more branchy, that were sweet to smoke, but not very berry, and didn't exhibit the same color change I saw in the others.
The most Sativa of the bunch, didn't smell very berry at all, in fact, I'm tempted to think, after growing Flo, that she is almost in those proportions of Sativa/Indica balance and has a much more coffee smell. The high from her buds is very nice, but still not my favourite.
The winner among the five, was a mix of the best qualities of all the rest. Very berry taste and smell, great color, and decent yields. The calyx fomations on this mother were the most remarkable and stacked of all the ladies. The resulting high, makes her the winner hands down, and is potent as I've smoked. I receive great feedback from any who smoke her, and have witnessed less experienced smokers turn her down, as they have had too much. One even told me they experienced visuals.
I feel after growing a few batches of Blueberry that it is a very unforgiving lady, not suited to novice growers. It will point out the weaknesses in your growroom, very fast. Sensitive to nutes, and temperatures, she does best when fed lightly, and kept cool. The most vivid color change seems to come from temps in the cool range. Less than 80 lights on, and under 70 lights off.
Having said that, she is worth the grow, as the taste and high, are truly a treat. I can wake and bake, and still funtion, even given the heavy Indica influence. The bit of Sativa she has, provides a great balance, IMHO.
I have always wanted to grow Blueberry and after doing alot of research and reading his book I choose to go with DJ Short. I bought my pack from Brad over at Hempdepot and germinated them. I got all but 1 to pop but had a bad luck with the male/female ratio and just ended up with 3 girls to choose f...continued

These plants were a present from a very good friend of mine. The plants started off short and squat but then started to stretch a little, especially in bud. I was using a 1000 watt HPS for veg and for bud and grew in Promix soil. The nutrient in veg was 'Total Nutrition' and ...continued
