Breeder's Description - 'Flo' | | Flo is a Sativa/Indica cross (60% Sativa/ 40% Indica) with very Sativa phenotypic characteristics that also matures very early. The large, tight, spear-shaped buds are made up of small, densely packed purple calyxes. The plants are taller and like to branch out. Indoors the buds are fully mature by the end of their sixth week. Outdoors the plant is a super producer when multi-harvested over a period of time. The first buds are ripe around the third week of September. Flo is a tremendous strain that was really fun to grow. Flo is a very quick flowering strain for such a heavy sativa buzz.
Flo can be taken from anywhere from like 43-55 days depending on personal preference. One of Flo's real strengths is the clear headed buzz. I think you could talk a buzzard ...continued

I started five seeds using paper towel method, all five split open within 36 hours in the moist paper towels.
Seeds placed in 16 oz. styrofoam cups filled with pro mix bx blend.
Two of the five grew with more vigor than others, right from the start.
these turned out to be male.
The other three displayed weird leaves......twisted and curved strangly.
All three were slower growing...one of which was puny and twisted, I considered killing the runt, but was happy that I did not, because this slow growing plant turned out to be the only female of the five.
The runt eventually started to grow and flower with strength.
The plant was flowered under artificial outdoor method......
seedlings grown under floros for week or so and then moved outdoors and put into direct sunlight for most of day. Vegged for about a month, after which plant was placed in total darkness for 12 hours(indoors). On rainy or very cloudy days plant was put under 600W HPS.
12/12 for 58 days.
Great tasting buds when cured after a few months...some of the yummiest deep and
pungent, earthy tasting buds I haver ever tried. Very strong distictive flavor.
The high is up and cerebral with some narcotizing influence after very heavy indulgence. Not too potent, nice action inducing buzz.
If not for the strange and freaky nature of the genetics -(and relative price).
would grow again, but too many other strains I havent tried are more worthy of inclusion in future grows.
Garden Information for this report Started under floros... Moved outdoors after transplanting into 3 gal container ProMixBX with addtl. perlite and vermiculite and dolomite lime Supplemental lighting on rainy days with 600W HPS Ferts----Miracle Grow Tomato, Peters Super Blossom Booster Fulvic acid applied 2-3 times thru veg. Always watered with weak fert solution Flush with pure water only last 10 days |
