The seeds took 48 hours to germ, and another 24 hours to pop through, but took a while to take off due to low temps at the time.
I only did 3 plants, 2 of which were deformed, but luckily the 1 left turned out to be female.
From planting, it took 6 weeks to veg, bearing in mind I tied them down for extra growth (LST), so normally I'd say it would have took 4 weeks without any training to about 10" or so.
Flower:
Once I triggered them at 9 - 10" tall, they grew faster than all the other plants I was growing at the time, looking very sativa dominant, the nodes about 3cm apart, though it wasn't a skinny plant.
Feeding the Flo comes with a note of CAUTION, as it is very prone to over - fertilizing, be careful with the strength of your fertilizer, I only used half strength, and that was plenty, flushing at 34 days, and adding the PK 13-14 at day 40.
The stature of the Flo is quite tall and slender, but it doesn't take up a lot of room, this one ended up at 35" tall.
When in late flower the smell of the Flo turns really bitter, as the leaves start to turn purple. What was once a pleasant bubblegum/lemon citrus smell, is now a hashy bitter smell, although quite unique and hard to describe, a bit like the stone/high itself of the Flo.
Flowering took 64 days, but could be chopped at 55 - 60 no problems, I just let it go quite long.
Curing took approx 3 weeks, hung it up for a week, then dried it out for a further 2 weeks, but I put some away and forgot about it and after another 3 weeks or so i smoked it, and let me tell you, there was a hell of a difference in potency, my south-African mate said it was very close to African Rooibart with a huge grin.
High:
The high is very spacey, and quite strong, although it doesn't hit you hard, more of a 'creeper' weed I'd say, you find yourself drifting in and out of reality, definitely a day - dreamer weed, very trancy.
I've grown her inside and outside and love her either way. Inside under 430 watts she is a little tall but with proper pruning can give a very good harvest. Lots of crystally buds on long tops but no huge Yule logs. She is somewhat picky about watering and nutes. I grow organic in live soil inside ...continued
Grower Report - growsandsmokes on August 2, 2004, 3:11 pm
I germinated 3 seeds and all popped. Two of them were female. Something unique I noticed about Flo is that the main stem is trying to put out roots. I found a good mother out of the few plants I had. The buds from 1 of the phenos I got were nothing but resinous bracts. The other pheno was a little m...continued
Grower Report - Nature§Freak on November 12, 2005, 12:06 pm
First I have to say that Flo is a special part of the Blue family.
This report is based on 1 seedpack that was started indoor but was later grown on differend locations. The best optical lookin' seed was saved and is not a part of this report.
