  Breeder's Description - 'Grapefruit'
A new style sativa; early maturing, fast flowering and maximum yielding. Buds have a soft smell of grapefruit, sweet taste and intense tropical high. This is a 75% C’99 x 25% strong fruity sativa, stabilised on early maturity for some generations now. Plants grow up to 50 to 60 cm, when put under 12/12 hrs after one week of germination. This one is still undergoing a stability-program, although with 80% being winners not a bad choice.

Stability: 65%

My favorite strain for the moment . The genetic of these cross is 75% Cinderella 99 .

All the seeds popped well and they were 100% female. Look carefully on the seller website, these seeds (grapefruit) are female and no feminised.

Easy to grow, but need more attention than an indica! Of course

This is a strain that can be grown with 12/12 lighting from beginning to end. In fact, it's highly recommended if you want plants to finish less than 2.5 feet. if you veg them for more than 2 weeks you may regret it unless you have 600w or higher. Plants will not start flowering until they are a mon ...continued

Sprouted one feminized seed (from a four pack) to toss in with other strains in closet space...was a female. I topped her hearing she'd stetched a bit...no training and veg'd for ~ 3 weeks. Max height was just over 3 ft. yielded 44 grams (again, no training). She would put out more if the was just pointed in the right direction. I had read that this strain really took the nutes and she does. Aggresive feeding was the approach...though ph run off was very steady and I rinsed the soil down once a month. I would think even fore new growers this would be a decent buy...the female reports and content smokers backing this strain are always high and I've heard little to no bad reports.
The buds were rock hard nearing harvest but I was'nt ready for hard they'd dry out to be...very dense buds.

Smell during flower strongly resembles fresh grapefruit but is not on the dastic side to contain though odor control is recommended.

Chopped at 9 weeks...trichs - mostly cloudy with very few amber. Whole plant hung to dry with 65-68F temps and 45-50% humidity...after nearly a week buds were snipped from plant and placed in paper bags. Once they were dry, dry..off to the jars.

2 week cure offered a suprisingly soft smoke with light hints of fruit. After a month the citrus taste was stronger with nice aftertaste. This only continues with time but I did'nt make it much past that. ;)

I'm currently flowering a GF that was only veg'd for under 2 weeks and want to see what a SOG grow started from seed would offer...

For a mostly sativa strain I still think new growers would enjoy this plant. She can handle a bit of strong feeding which is a common mistake early on.
And if you look around the most experienced growers show this strain a lot of love. I'm looking forward to more strains from Female Seeds...probably Cinnamon from them sometime in the future.

I love this strain. I had no problems with this grow. I had 2 phenos out of 4 seeds. They all pretty much had the grapefruit smell, except for one that was pretty skunky. This was the first sativa I have grown, and will grow again.

The buzz from this strain is top notch. It is a warm fuzzy head h
