| The beans were acquired via Seedbay. With a 100% germ rate, they were in good condition when they arrived. They were germed in paper towels and then transferred to rockwool, which was placed into soil. Clones were run in DWC.
Two phenos were exhibited, the typical sour fruit tall sativa (grew to be 6 ft) and a slightly bushier, leafier, and squatter skunkier smelling variety, which was labeled as the diesel pheno. The diesel pheno seemed to be ready almost two weeks earlier, around the end of week 9. Both phenos took nearly 3 weeks to show sex from seed, and were almost two weeks faster by clone.
The Sour pheno exhibited a larger column of up to 2 ft in length and was the better yielder, although the quality and buzz of both variteties were nearly identical, only varying noticably in taste and smell. Second grow was solely clones of the sour pheno, which responded extremely well to an accidental topping early in flo, and would greatly benefit by propper topping in veg for bush style.
The taste in glass is smooth piney sour fruit, and with a cure gives yield to a hint of diesel skunky goodness. when entering a room with a zone, or even a few gees, the occupants immediately react with quips of "Who the f**k didnt shower", etc. Very strong smelling stuff, opening the jar will compromise entire level of house.
The buzz is a heady thought provoking sativa that takes the rider on a wandering trip with an element of body to it. good for planting on the couch, while not restricting daytime functionality. not 100% sativa, but damn good and some of the best to come through here for a couple of years. bag appeal is phenomenal as the frost covered white nugs stick to the inside of a bag; putting them inside a bag is indeed a crime in itself.
