| This was a very easy plant to start. It sprouted in 48 hours and grew fast. Of 5 seeds started 2 were male and 3 were female. I grew them out in HydroFarm/DWC buckets with Flora Nova nutes and Floralicous. Of the 3 female I killed one when a jug of water fell on her, and pulled one up after a couple weeks of veg because it did not seem right. The last female grew pretty fast and branched a lot on her own. I let her veg for 6 weeks-she got fairly large in that time. At 6 weeks I put her in the flower closet that has 1 400 watt HPS one 150 watt HPS and one 175 watt MH. She stretched to about 3x the size she started and after about 2 weeks I had to tie down the top buds. I continued to use the veg nutes for the first 2 weeks of flower then did a 8 hour flush with Florakleen before switching to Floranova Bloom. The buds grew fast and dense and were covered in trichs within 3 weeks-even the sugar leaves were covered in frost. She was a nute hog, making it up to 1 tbsp of Floranova/gallon of water. All in all it was a very easy grow until the last 3 weeks when we were hit By a hurricane and without power for 10 days. My neighbor let me use his generator for the light but without A/C there was a slight bit of bud rot from the humidity and spider mites managed to get in from outside. I did manage to hold down the mite population until harvest. She finished at 55 days(or at least I decided it was a good idea to cut her to avoid more bud rot). She produced a very large amount of very dense sticky bud. It was about 4 lbs wet but trimmed. After the dry and 3 weeks cure I wound up with 15.4 oz's of very sticky very sweet buds. Overall there was about 2 oz's of small fluffy buds and the rest was very large buds. The top bud weighed in at 2.5 oz's. After the cure the bud took on a cherry smell and had a cherry Ludens taste to it. The stone was not as strong as I expected it to be ,but was very nice just the same. I would rate this in the top 5 for ease, looks and potency.
Garden Information for this report She was grown in a HydroFarm/DWC bucket with Hydroton as the medium. I used Floranova nutes with Floralicous and later changed to the Floranova with liquid karma and finally Indonesian bat guano and soluble seaweed extract to finish. I have 6' of vertical space and the floor is 2.5'X3'. In my bucket I have the HydroFarm ring and a bubbler in the bottom made from 1/4 inch drip hose. |
