| On July 16th 2004 I germinated 5 seeds of the Nirvana Bubblicious and had 100% success having all 5 crack open. I used FoxFarm ocean forest soil with a small mix of perlite in 16 oz. drinking cups with drainage holes on the bottom to start the seedlings. I acquired a used 400w HPS ballast with a hood from a friend and added a new Hortilux 430w HPS bulb to it, and immediately put the 16 oz. cups under it. About 9 days later the seedlings were transplanted into 6 inch by 9 inch plastic pots, giving them a nice dose of superthrive right after. At this point I was feeding them fox farm grow big in light doses (½ strength). Two weeks later I transplanted them into 11inch by 10 inch pots, again giving them a nice dose of superthrive afterwards by now I beefed up the feedings to normal everyday feeding again with fox farm grow big.
Amazingly just prior to transplanting into 5 gallon buckets, I was astonished to find I was the proud 1st time grower of 4 females and one male (which eventually was destroyed). One and a half weeks after the transplants into the 5 gallon buckets, I flipped from a 20/4 to a 12/12 photo period and prepared for the flowering stage. During flowering i fed them fox farm big bloom and earth juice micro blast in normal doses. The Bubliscious grew tall to about an avg height of 45 inches and the trees eventually got bushier, creating a very impressive canopy. The last two feedings included some tiger bloom I should note. Since this was my first real grow with a decent set up I think I did a great job, I still need to refine my feeding regimen though. I let the Bubblicious flower for exactly 65 days, I then cut the stalks on November 7th 2004 and hung them up to dry naturally with a single fan for 6 days (bone dry).
Thru the entire process my temps never exceeded 78º and never dropped below 66º. I found that these cooler temperatures were key in producing a Trihcome laden canopy and a danky smell.
Unfortunately due to lack of space I had to give a fellow OG-er the runt out fo the four Bubliscious, which made a friend happy and opened up some space for light to shine through. Out of the three plants I yielded a total of 179 grams of bone dry and manicured dank Nirvana Bubblicious buds.
The Nirvana Bubblicious smokes very well, it really surprised me and all my friends because of the cheap price of the seed packs. I honestly didn’t expect such quality and high trichome production from this nirvana seed pack, so it was a pleasant surprise. Smoking my first bowl I immediately was taken over by the musky thick and robust smoke that wasn’t very harsh but eventually made you cough when given the chance to expand in the lungs. Slight to no after taste, yet leaves a nice candy odor lingering in the air. When I open up the jars the whole house is stinking with Bubblicious.
I would like to thank every one who helped me along the way and stopped by my threads, overgrow is truly a unique experience and makes this hobby twice as rewarding, *(*(*(SohcDutch)*)*)*
