| Very nice strain. This was my second grow, using Mediumless DWC and the Bubblicious was a very nice, smooth grow. No real problems other than a bit of stretch on one of the plants.
I had 2 that both turned out to be female. One I topped, the other I didn't. The topped plant produced over twice the bud that the untopped plant did, and would have been even more, if it hadn't stretched so much and gotten burnt by the lights, mercilessly.
I tried to put in a ScrOG screen, which worked for a little while, but about a week into flowering the plants were stretching real bad (i think due to the fact that I use CFLs for lighting), some growing 4-6 inches overnight! Some shoots got so big, they were burnt by the lights. They would have been nice big cola's to. It's a shame.
Flowering went on for exactly 8 weeks. Might have even pulled them a day or two earlier. The plants kept fattening up for about the 7th week, into the 8th, but then they stopped, and after inspection with the magnifying glass, trichomes had been changing from cloudy to amber. Time to cut.
Drying took about 4 days, and was very smelly. Not bad smelly, kinda, cut grass smelly. After cutting everything apart I came out with 80.5g between the two plants (24.4 on the untopped plant, and 56.1 on the topped one, which would have been even larger without the burning).
Buds were beautiful and looked sugar coated. The smoke was nice and clean, tasted very good and kept me stoned for a couple of hours. More of a heady high. Don't smoke it if you've got to go to work (that's just a good general rule anyways, unless it's friday, you ain't got no job, and you've got nothing to do).
I'd recommend Bubblicious to any grower looking for a nice easy plant, with great results and minimal issues.
Garden Information for this report My setup is two 31gallon rubbermaid containers, one stacked upside down on top of the other. In the top rubbermaid container, are 6 CFL lights of varying Wattage and Temperature rating. Two 85W 6500k lights, two 45W 3400k lights, and two 23W 2700k lights. With mylar covering the inside of the top container and a 92mm computer fan for exhaust. In the bottom rubbermaid, I had a DWC container. When the seedlings were small, they were in a 6Liter container with an airpump and airstone. Once I switched to 12/12 the larger plants moved to a 10Gallon DWC res with 2 airpumps and airstones. The plants were held in cut pool noodles that fit into holes cut into the top lid of the 10gallon DWC. A ScrOG screen was attached, but not utilized to it's full potential and some plants quickly overgrew and reached the lights, burning themselves, mercilessly. General Hydroponics 3 part GMB nutrients were used in the "Lucas" formula of 0-5-10 mL/gal G-M-B for veg, and 0-8-16 for flower. Res was topped up with pH'd water and nute combinations, and water was only changed during the switch from Veg to Flower. Light Cycle was 24/0 all through veg with 170w of Cool Blue CFLs, and 12/12 for Flower with 306w Mixed Spectrum lights. Veg for 28 days (4 weeks) and Flower for 56 day (8 weeks). Plants were done. checking trichomes on my 60x magnification thing, most trichs were cloudy, with many amber. |
