Breeder's Description - 'Northern Lights x Shiva' | | Northern Lights crossed with Shiva creates wonderfully pungent sweet buds with bountiful THC. This plant has high flower to leaf ratio. NL/Shi has a bit spicier smoke when compared to Northern Lights and has a more complex buzz. This strain is a timeless classic. NL/Shi has a exotic aroma, is relatively easy to grow and clone.

Nirvana NLxShiva was a very nice variety to grow.
They branch out quite nicely and often "top" themselves somehow
just so they can grow more branches. This was very good for me and it
provided for a pretty decent yeild.

This was my first grow in 2001. NL x Shiva was a great place to start. The plants grew quickly and were very forgiving. I kept the pH around 6 - 6.2 (now I keep it lower). There was only a little diversity in phenotypes, all had fat, triangular leaves.

This is the first time I have grown this strain. I really was not sure what to make of this strain, but due to the f'up in my room I needed to drop a few more seeds to max the sq footage.

3 seeds germinated and 1 was female. She was average size with tight internodes during vegitative growth. It doubled in height between 12/12 and finish. The plant grew a very large top cola and a very thick stem; it needed no support. This plant was so loaded with trichomes that the buds looked pearl at a distance under the lighting. The buds pack a powerful punch. The buzz is very potent and still a good balance to the high. She goes 56 days. Good for stealth growers, light smell.
Garden Information for this report I have a 4 chamber grow. Germination/cloning, vegetation, flowering and breeding. The germination/cloning chamber is hydro, the others are my soil mix. Lighting as follows: 80w floroclone, 325w floroveg and 400w HPS with 250w MH for under/side flowering. Manually watered 1.5x daily. Feedings every other day included Humatech's Organic Advantage. Also rotated Indo Bay Guano, Bone Meal and Blood meal about the flower room weekly. Cloning done using light floros and H2O alone. |

Easy to grow, I couldn't kill it as hard as I tried. Good yield. Great smoke, quite potent. The couple other people who've had any have raved also.

This was my first real grow and I was amazed with every aspect of this plant. Extremely easy to grow, almost like it took care of itself. It loved nutes and was not over-sensitive. The foliage is a beautiful dark green.
