| Overall Summary
Lifesaver, it cures what ails ya! Said best by BOG himself. This is a wonderful strain & I'd recommend growing it to anyone! It's a very uniform plant for the most part and it's really easy to grow out. I was working with two females out of 3 seedlings that I had pop up. 3 out of 4 seeds germinated. But 2 of the 3 were female, so it was a score. On top of that, I had 2 phenotypes to work with! Even better. The first to finish in 55 days was the indica dominant bogbubble phenotype. Short & squat with thick fingers like any indica would. The second phenotype I had was the sativa dominant "grape" or purple pheno. This pheno was trained to be short but considerably taller and more lanky than the other phenotype. It finished in two intervals, the top at 63 days and the bottom at 70 days.
Smoke Report
--Bogbubble pheno This pheno tastes very earthy. It has a spicy taste, but its very smooth. It gives you a very mellow body high, and you get that heavy weight feel in your eye lids. Common indica high traits, but its so much more. It did pack a punch, and in my own opinion, is a little stronger in potency than even the sativa phenotype.
--"Grape" pheno This phenotype tastes so wonderful that BOG should trademark the flavor! It tastes like candy, but also has a undertone of spices & melons, very unique. The high is almost like the clarity thinking of a mushroom trip. I feel like my thoughts are much clearer, and I'm kind of energetic and ready to take on the next challenge of the day. A great high for sure!
* Growers note: Lifesaver (both phenos I grew out) gets REALLY frosty during flowering, more so than a lot of plants I've seen and grown myself. From the stems to the leaves, even the fan leaves. If you like frosty buds, this plants for you!
Garden Information for this report These plants were germinated via the paper towel method. I then put the paper towel into a little rubbermaid container and sealed and aired out in intervals until tails showed. I then sowed to soil, regular MG potting soil with added nutes & micronutes. They were put into little white Styrofoam cups until about day 25 of veg when they were then transplanted into bigger pots where they remained until harvest. They ultimately vegetated for 30 days. The pots weren't that big because of my space I was working with. A small rubbermaid cab bought from the grocery store. The soil used when transplanted before bloom was MG African violet potting soil for blooming plants with nutes & micronutes. I used 8-14-9 Shultz African violet nutes for flowering food. They were flowered for 55 days (indica pheno), 63 days (top of grape pheno) & 70 days (rest of grape pheno). Each phase of life was under 3*26w of CFL's (red spectrum) & 2-3*33w warm spectrum tubes (25"). This plant is a very nice plant to breed with from what I hear. I will definitely be growing this in my garden in the future, and possibly breeding myself. Thanks for a great lineage of cannabis BushyOlderGrower! |
