Thirteen seeds germinated out of fifteen of which six were female.
There were two phenotypes, both very similar.
The first pheno is slightly taller than the second... what can I say, if you are growing Chronic, yield is what you are going to get. The smell is not OTT and is very sweet, rather nic ...continued

This strain shows good yields and is easy to grow dose better in cool temps and MCF is a must to rise potency and resin production, I have grown out 14 and made 1400 prime f2 seeds and grown out 60 plants with a 80 % female ratio. Being my first grow, I gotta admit things didn't do things perfectly. 6/6 of the seeds germinated and grew into the vegitative stage equally as healthy. Only 1/6 however was female. These were grown in a small closet with little ventilation (only door open when the light was on).

Chronic is one of my favorite strains. Very easy to grow from seed or clone, it loves high nutes and it’s a good yielder. I have been very happy with the results of this plant, my mother is a medium height plant that grows one main cola if left small which is ideal for SOG but the longer you let it veg the more branches you get. The smell varies between phenotypes. The sativa ones smell quite sweet and fruity, while the indica phenos have more of a sweet skunky type smell.
The Pheno I use lies between these two, it is identified by being indica in appearance, medium height, thick stem, but the real giveaway is the smell, if you rub the stem it has a smell of plasticene you know the stuff that kids play with, which you can also smell late in flower, this is the Pheno that gives the best yield with great high.
The Chronic in this grow was grown from a cutting, it was transplanted from a 1” block into a Aquafarm and vegged for three weeks where it was flowered at a height of 2 ft and finished at 54 days at a height of 4 ½ ft total weight dried was 31 ½ oz.
Smoke
After properly drying and curing you won’t be disappointed with the high and smell of the buds, the high is awesome with great bag appeal. I was surprised when I joined Overgrow at the bad reports I read on Chronic’s potency, all I can say is I have grown some of the best strains there are and Chronic is up there, with the added bonus of a great yield . Although the taste may not be to everyone’s taste as it can be a bit harsh if not cured properly.

Most people who diss this strain probably haven't done it right. Personally i am very impressed with it. Its CERTAINLY a definite must for growers who have big yeilds at the top of their criteria. The plants all germinated and received 8 females out of 15 seeds.
Plants grew fairly quick through veg and produced a deep hash scent. The plants varied slightly in their indica/sativa characteristics.
