Smokers that know and grow choose this plant for its combination of appearance and sweet smell. With its indica background Chronic can produce up to 600 g/m2 without losing that connoisseur feeling. Thirteen seeds germinated out of fifteen of which six were female.
There were two phenotypes, both very similar.
The first pheno is slightly taller than the second... what can I say, if you are growing Chronic, yield is what you are going to get. The smell is not OTT and is very sweet, rather nice when growing, but totally different when smoking, rather harsh. I am not a big Indica fan, unless I need a good sleep, this one has a very strong Indica buzz.
4 of the pics are of the first pheno and one, entitled aintshebig.JPG is the second, slightly squater.
They were pretty easy to grow, and Serious Seeds description is basically bang on.

This strain shows good yields and is easy to grow dose better in cool temps and MCF is a must to rise potency and resin production, I have grown out 14 and made 1400 prime f2 seeds and grown out 60 plants with a 80 % female ratio. Being my first grow, I gotta admit things didn't do things perfectly. 6/6 of the seeds germinated and grew into the vegitative stage equally as healthy. Only 1/6 however was female. These were grown in a small closet with little ventilation (only door open when the light was on).

Chronic is one of my favorite strains. Very easy to grow from seed or clone, it loves high nutes and it’s a good yielder. Most people who diss this strain probably haven't done it right. Personally i am very impressed with it. Its CERTAINLY a definite must for growers who have big yeilds at the top of their criteria. The plants all germinated and received 8 females out of 15 seeds.
Plants grew fairly quick through veg and produced a deep hash scent. The plants varied slightly in their indica/sativa characteristics.
